Piney Gir is one of the most inventive singer-songwriters in the UK today.

The US-born musician has lived in London since the late 90s and her ever-changing style sees her drawing from her homeland and the city she now calls home.

After two years touring the world with Gaz Coombes and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, she has managed to find time to complete her trilogy of EPs with 'Cosmic Upside Down'.

Recorded in Berlin in what used to be the German Royal Mint – now a series of haunted hallways filled with artists' and musicians' studios – Piney Gir channelled this otherworldly energy into four amazing tracks.
