London dream rock group Rats-Tails to release debut EP via No Distance Records

Rats-Tails, the dream rock band from South East London, will release its debut EP through No Distance Records in Autumn 2025.

'Public Domain' will be released on limited edition vinyl, as well as on streaming platforms.

Rats-Tails has been hailed as “one of the most interesting bands in London right now” by Far Out and a group that “that effortlessly weaves together a unique sonic tapestry” by Still Listening Magazine.

With influences from The Cure, Weyes Blood and Ethel Cain, the band’s self-determined ‘Dream Rock’ sound has already shown itself as one of great dexterity and ambition, and the group has developed a cult following across the capital and beyond.

Rats-Tails singer Courtney said: “We have been working on our debut EP since 2024 and we’re super proud of it! We’re super chuffed that No Distance Records enjoyed our EP and wanted to help us get it out into the world! We’re excited for our future.”

No Distance Records founder Owen said: “Rats-Tails are one of those bands you never quite know what they are going to do next. When I heard how their new EP was shaping up, I knew we had to get involved as it is such a special record. They add something completely different to No Distance Records, but at the same time, as they are located near us in South East London, they simply have to be on our label, or what’s the point of us existing?”
