London's most exciting and vital post-punk band Radiator are to release their next single via No Distance Records.
Set to hit streaming platforms and digital stores on Friday January 17, ‘Nekrasova’ is a high-octane blast of indie that brings to mind Joy Division at their most frantic, The Ramones at their most combustible, and The Smiths at their most direct.
“The song is about doing what you want to do and feeling ten feet tall while you do it, so it’s for people that want an uplifting track they can shout at the top of their lungs,” said Radiator singer Ollie Ledwith.
The track is the third release from a group that have carved out a niche in the grassroots music scene, picking up a dedicated following that has seen them sell out venues across London and Essex.
Radiator formed in 2023 and alongside Ollie on vocals the group features Ben Velasco on drums, Tom Denham on bass, and Fergus Channel and Gabe Summers on guitars.
No Distance Records co-founder Owen Bennett said: “Intense, brooding, brilliant – Radiator represent all the things we want No Distance Records to champion. They are the fusion of furious intellect and straight-to-the-vein songwriting we have been waiting for.”
